Hello all!

What a fantastic dinner that was- and thank you so much for the pictures, Nina, and the flowers, Dennis! I am looking at one of the flowers now on my daughter's table as I write. I left the dinner on Wed. night to go find my lost credit card, but found it right where I'd dropped it...

I also wanted to invite everyone who is still around on Sat. to come to my presentation 10:30-11:15 CC313, Student weblogging for fluency, skills & integration or come read about it here...hope to see you then- it's a great conference, and I'm happy to meet everyone!!

Hi Tom, it was wonderful meeting you f2f! I wish I could come to your presentation but that is during the CEA workshop I have to attend. :-( Good luck with it though! I am glad you found your credit card. If you are free for dinner tonight and would like Chinese (probably), meet us in the Pike St. lobby across from Kinko's at 7 pm.

Hey, Tom.

I wish I could be there for your presentation tomorrow (Saturday). When I looked through TESOL's EShow before the convention started, the description of your presentation was one that I was particularly interested in.

I'm very impressed with your personal blog and I've also seen some of what your students have produced: Kudos!

I would ask you to give my best to the folks at CESL, but I just reviewed the CESL faculty page (and also the Linguistics faculty page) and saw only two familiar names: yours and that of Glenn Gilbert. I suppose Dr. Gilbert is retired now, but he was my major professor when I got my MAEFL at SIU-C way back in the early 1970s. (I still think of such names as Dick Daesch, Alice Morris, Keith and Becky Pharis, Charles Parrish, Sheila ???, and others, and remember them fondly.)

I wish you great success with your presentation!

The best of luck with your presentation, Tom. Count on me, I would definitely come if I am in Seattle. ;-)

Thank you all for the kind comments! I had a great time and feel like webheads are my first family at TESOL...

Nina, sorry I missed all dinners after that Wed. Was eating home-cooked salmon out in the neighborhoods...

Dennis, the Sheila you mention is Sheila Brutten (sp?), who is now in the Phoenix area, I believe! Maybe you'll see her someday, though it probably won't be at a esl/technology conference!
